Meet the photographer


My name is Jessica

My career has always been rooted in creativity, communication, and connection. As a photographer and designer, I’ve had the opportunity to document people, places, and stories throughout New England and globally, while building a body of work shaped by curiosity, craftsmanship, and a genuine appreciation for the people I photograph.


Today, I’m continuing to expand my perspective in a new direction, pursuing post-baccalaureate premedical studies at Tufts University with the goal of building a future in healthcare.



Travel has always been an important part of my creative life. Through Of Light & Craft, I share photographs, portraits, and stories from the places I’ve traveled and the moments that have stayed with me. This collection is a glimpse into the work I create beyond my client work, and the experiences that continue to shape how I see the world.

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Tufts

 

I am currently pursuing a career in healthcare as a full-time student in the Tufts University Post-Bacc Pre-Health Program.

Throughout my photography career, I've specialized in weddings, portraits, branding, and travel photography.

I have partnered with authors, law firms, and dental practices to create branding, print materials, websites, and digital marketing.

We worked with Jessi for our first family portraits as a family of five, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. It's a challenge to photograph three kids under five, but Jessi's laid back demeanor and natural approach took away a lot of the stress (and even made the experience fun!). Jessi was a ton of help throughout the process, helping to coordinate looks, choose a location, and ensure that we got the poses and feel we were looking for. The pictures she captured were gorgeous, and she was generous with her time - both in editing and in taking the photos - guaranteeing that we were happy with the end result.
